Does TermTrax replace lawyers?
No. TermTrax handles document discovery and first-pass clause analysis. Every legal judgment stays with a human lawyer. The AI cannot close a review on its own.
How does TermTrax ensure legal judgment remains with the lawyer?
Every AI-generated analysis is presented as a first-pass summary. The final legal judgment, risk assessment, and contractual modifications are exclusively the responsibility of your in-house counsel.
What makes TermTrax analysis output better than others?
Many legaltech AI solutions use basic pattern matching and lightweight AI models. This keeps the costs down, but harms output quality. TermTrax uses high end AI models that are suitable for nuanced clause reasoning. we catch commonly missed nuances such as jurisdiction and superseding language.
How does the document discovery process work for vendor documents?
TermTrax automates the initial discovery of binding legal documents on the vendor's website. This allows your team to focus on substantive review rather than manual data extraction. You can always manually add or remove documents to the review.
Is TermTrax suitable for mid-market companies?
Absolutely. We have designed the platform to handle the volume and complexity of mid-market vendor contracts without the overhead of enterprise-grade SaaS.
What happens if a clause is missed by the AI?
You can freely add findings within a document by highlighting the relevant text. The initial analysis done by the AI does not limit your ability to perform a review.
When will TermTrax be generally available?
We are currently in early access, working with our early adopters. We expect broader availability by the end of July 2026.
What happens to our data?
Each customer's data is isolated using industry standard protocols. We do not use customer data to train models. Your data can be deleted upon request and naturally filtered out of stored backups after 364 days.
Is there an onboarding process?
TermTrax avoids the dreaded onboarding process. Within 15 minutes of signup you can expect to have opened a review, completed the document discovery and AI analysis. You will have even begun providing your own input to the review. We provide starter playbooks so that you can evaluate the product before investing your time. However, you will eventually want to update the playbooks with your own company policies.
How can I quickly validate the AI's output?
We offer 2 view modes for reviewing the AI's findings (and your findings as well). A centralized dashboard with all the findings including their exact text snippets, source document and section. The app also allows for viewing the actual legal documents in the app with findings highlighted. Hover over the clause to view and edit its details.
